White, clean silica sand
Description
Whitecast® is white, pure silica sand with a grain size of 0-2 mm for concrete in all exposure classes. The silica sand has a particularly uniform, light color, which makes it suitable for both light and coloured concrete. The product has an absorption of 0.0% and is 100% free from reactive flint.
The silica sand for Whitecast® is extracted from our sand pit in Tandskov, where it was deposited about 22 million years ago. For many years the industry has used silica sand for the production of high quality concrete, and Whitecast has also been part of our range at Dansand® since 2010.
