The perfect growth layer for greens

DANSAND® Supergreen is a perfectly balanced growth layer developed specifically for greens with a dedicated care plan.

Supergreen consists of washed silica sand, compost, sphagnum, and a small amount of ground sand, creating an efficient mix conforming to the USGA recommendations for the establishment of golf greens.

The nutritional content of Supergreen is comparatively low, as high levels of nutrients may lead to the accumulation of organic material and moisture in the soil profile. Over time this may lead to soft, soggy greens.

With a growth layer based on Supergreen you will experience less accumulation of organic matter and consequently a reduced need for ongoing maintenance including plugging, soil profile dilution with sand, and less need for the use of Verti-Drain.

A combination of a Supergreen growth layer and a regular care program will give the grass optimum growth conditions for fast, smooth, and firm greens even during wet periods such as autumn or spring.
