Top dressing and nutrients in one go

DANSAND Superdres^® K10 is the obvious choice if you want to add nutrients while topdressing during the growing season.

K10 is a mix of DANSAND Superdres^® and compost. In our topdress mixing plant, we add a small amount of compost to the washed and sorted silica sand.

The result is a high-quality top-dressing product with all the properties of sand: it follows the USGA’s recommendations, provides air to the roots and ensures optimal surface drainage. The added compost adds vital microorganisms to the soil and slightly raises the pH.

With its carefully balanced proportion of compost, K10 is very close to DANSAND Superdres^®, which is a pure sand product. You can combine the two products in your top dressing programme, topdressing with Superdres^® in the autumn and winter months and with K10 when the grass absorbs the most nutrients.

The benefits are noticeable: You use the same type of sand all year round, avoid stratification of the soil profile and meet the changing needs of the plants throughout the year.
