Description
Nevtraco® is a filter material made from bryozoan lime. The material has high separating properties and is therefore particularly suitable for removing iron, ammonium, nitrite and more from drinking water. The structure of Nevtraco® makes it ideal for filtering colloidal iron hydroxides. This structure also makes the material easy to backwash.
Nevtraco® is also sold as water treatment lime.

The material has a gray / white color, sharp edges, a rough surface and a fragile structure.
Nevtraco® water treatment lime is made from bryozo lime at Faxe Kalk A / S, where the lime is dried, pulverized and sieved.
Storage
Dry, covered and without risk of contamination.
Delivery
Delivered in 20 liter/25 kg plastic bags.
Environmental information and disposal
Prevent dust. Packaging and used filter material should be disposed of in accordance with local requirements.

Application
Nevtraco® is used partly for filtration of drinking and process water, partly to neutralize carbon dioxide.
Max. working temperature is 85 °C.
