Extra stability and draining capability

DANSAND^® Airaid is used to fill holes arising during aeration and as topdressing when reseeding the grass or as winter hardening. DANSAND^® Airaid is highly suitable for soil with a high clay content.
Consisting of round-edged and washed silica sand, DANSAND^® Airaid has an overweight of coarse grains and is at the upper end of the USGA curve.

Compared to the finer-grained DANSAND Superdres^®, the coarse silica sand gives extra stability and improved water permeability in the soil.
Both varieties of topdressing are fine-tuned to give the ideal playing surface. A combination of DANSAND Superdres^® for ongoing topdressing and DANSAND^® Airaid for deep aeration or plugging will give your grass the perfect growing conditions.

DANSAND^® Airaid has a maximum grain size of 1 mm. This makes the topdressing resistant to cutting equipment and minimises the amount of cut grass collected in the cutting boxes – and gives you all the benefits of increased drainage.
