Description
DANSAND Superdres® KSP Light is a combination of compost, sphagnum and our premium product DANSAND Superdres®. It is an obvious choice when you want to add a small amount of nutrients when you topdress during the growth season.
KSP Light has all the properties of sand: it follows the USGA’s recommendations, provides air to the roots and ensures optimal drainage of the surface. The added compost converts fertilisers into plant-accessible material, while the sphagnum content helps to maintain the pH of the soil in the optimal bed.
As the proportion of compost and sphagnum is carefully balanced, KSP Light is very close to the pure sand product, DANSAND Superdres®. You can therefore use the two products in a combined top dressing program, where you dress with Superdres® in the autumn and winter months and with KSP Light, when the grass absorbs the most nutrients.
The benefits are noticeable: You use the same type of sand all year round, avoid stratification of the soil profile and meet the changing needs of the plants throughout the year.
